Pinkies Virtual Retreat Swaps

Hi crafters, hope you have had a great week.

I’m back again with a couple of cards I made for a virtual retreat which happened over the weekend, it was so much fun with 114 demonstrators in attendance, headed up by the wonderful Michelle Last.

I created two cards for two different swap groups, one was for any bundle and the other was for die cutting.

I used the Painted Poppies stamps and dies for the die cutting group. For the top half of the card i used the subtles embossing folder, and the bottom half the poppiers were heat embossed. I thought it would be a good touch for Remembrance Sunday.

For the other group any bundle I used the lovely you stamp set with the lovely labels pick a punch incorporating the gold hoops which I love on cards, it gives them a boost in my opinion. I stamped the base card with Pretty Peacock ink for th background.

We had a fabulous weekend and I am so very grateful to Michelle and the restof the team who helped to make this happen, and all the great projects we had for the event, the Pinkies Rock!

I hope you like them, until next time, happy stampin xx

Feels Like Frost DSP

Hi Crafters,

Hope everyone is doing well in the current climate.

I'm back again with a quick and simple card using Designer Series Paper (DSP) I thought I would do Christmas as it’s almost here and will be a strange one this year.

I used the carried over Feels Like Frost DSP which is so lovely with winter scenes throughout with a frosty feel.

I punched out a circle from the DSP using the 21/4 " circle punch creating and aperture. The punched out piece which was stuck onto a Whisper White card base. I covered the aperture left in the DSP with some Metallic Mesh Ribbon, then mounted it onto the card base.

I cut a strip of same DSP because as you know most of our DSP is double sided and used the silver side as a base and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set Itty Bitty Christmas onto some whisper white card stock, punched that out using our Banners Pick a Punch and added a little bling, and there you have a quick and simple card that still looks very effective.

I hope you like it, until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Forever Fern

Hi Crafters, I’m back with another creation using the Forever Fern stamp set.

Today I used Whisper White card stock for the base along with Pretty Peacock for the panels which were cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies, and then stamped randomly with the splashes from the stamp set. I love these dies as they are so versatile and can cut your panels to different sizes to for your card front.

I stamped the leaves in Old Olive and Garden Green, and the pods (not sure what they are called) I stamped in Pretty Peacock. I cut the embossed leaves from the Forever Flourishing Dies in Gold Foil and the other leaves from Vellum card stock

I used the Banners Pick a Punch from the Autumn Winter mini catalogue, and I really hope this punch carries on in the new catalogue when it comes out next year. I then wrapped some of the Forever Greenery Combo Trim around my punch sentiment and used Pretty Peacock Light Blender to do my dashes. I coloured some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Pretty Peacock Dark Blender, and there you have the finished card.

I hope you like it, and I will be back soon with another creation.

Happy Stampin xx

Lovely You

Hi crafters,

Its been a while since I last posted, life gets in the way sometimes, but here I am with something new.

I have used the stamp set Lovely You with inspiration from Jose Hoogeveen (StampinTreasure) I copied her card and put my own spin on it adding a few more items.

I stamped everything with Blackberry Bliss ink, I punched out the circle on the whisper white card stock with  21/4" circle punch so that a gold hoop would fit inside nicely. I then punched out a 2" circle from some blackberry bliss card stock to fit inside the gold hoop. I also used the stamp set Forever Fern for the sploges and used some clear elegant faceted gems coloured with dark blackberry bliss blender pen.

I really love this stamp set as it is so versatile, its so pretty in my opinion and goes well with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

I hope you like it until next time, happy stampin xx
