First Frost

Hi crafters, hope you are all well.

Today I thought I would do Christmas so have made a simple Christmas Card using the First Frost stamps and dies.

I used Cherry Cobbler card stock for the base of the card. I embossed the leaves down the side with clear embossing powder. The sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas was stamped and embossed with white embossing powder.  The leaves and berries were die cut using gold foil card stock and mossy meadow card stock.

I love the gold hoops, so had to incorporate it into my card along with some gold thread from the forever greenery combo ribbon pack.

I then punched out some tiny circles from a retired punch from the gold foil card and placed them randomly around the card.

There you have it a quick and simple Christmas Card that still looks very nice i think, I hope you like it, until next time, happy stampin xx

Card Sketch Challenge

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well.

Today I have a card that was created from a card sketch challenge that was posted on the Strawberry Stampers team page by Sarah Berry, Team leader of the Strawberry Stampers.

This is my version of the sketch.

This is the sketch posted by Sarah Berry

I used the basic grey card stock which was popped up on the whisper white card stock base with diementionals. I used the Peony Garden Design Series Paper for the panels which were cut at 3/4 inches to fit the Banners Pick a Punch for the Autumn Mini Catalogue and one that I hope will carry over to the new Annual catalogue next year.

I used the painted poppies stamp to stamp the flowers in memento black and petal pink, I used the painted labels dies to cut the flowers out the sentiment panel, the sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases stamp set, I used the Forever Flourishing dies to cut out the leaves in Old Olive card stock. The ribbon is crinkled seam binding ribbon which was coloured with Petal Pink blender pen.

I finished it off with some Rhinestone basic Jewels on the points of each of the banners, its surprising what can be done from a sketch, I throughly enjoyed it and  I hope you like it too, thanks to Sarah for the inspiration.

Until next time, Happy Stampin xx
