Floral Romance meets Botanical Tags Mini Album

Hi Crafters,

Hope you have had a good week!

Today I bring you a Mini Album in a box made using the Floral Romance DSP and the Botanical Tags Dies.

I was inspired by a class I took at a crop a few years ago which was run by Clare Charvill who is the UK Ambassador for Graphic 45. I also made a box for it to go in too from scratch as the original was made with a Graphic 45 box which is no longer available.  I fussy cut some of the leaves from the vellum sheets in the Floral Romance DSP. I used Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to tie the box, I also used one of our Pearlized Doilies a Faceted Gem for the middle and of course some basic rhinestones scattered around for the top of the box.

Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was also used to tie around the completed mini album inside the box.

I used old olive card stock to make the base of the mini album, and covered each panel with Floral Romance DSP.  I made pockets and belly bands again from old olive card stock and Floral Romance DSP for both sides of the base. The mini album folds up like a concertina to fit into the box.

I used the Botanical Tags Dies to make tags to go into the pockets using Whisper White Thick card stock, Pear Pizzazz and Petal Pink, all the colours that co-ordinate with the Floral Romance DSP. I also made some journaling cards for each pocket also. I Stamped a few images form the Botanical Bliss stamp set, fussy cut them and added them to some of the tags.

The Box itself measures 8" by 5" by 1 half " tall. It was made in the same style as you would making a had back mini album which was inspired by my sister Crafty Netty.

I hope you like it, until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Beauty Abounds

Hi Crafters,

I hope you have had a good week.

Today I have used the Beauty Abounds stamp set to make this card, a bit different to my previous card using the same set.

I used Flirty Flamingo card stock and stamped the splodges from the stamp set randomly on the card base.

I stamped the flourish in memento black and coloured the flowers in with Flirty Flamingo from my ink pad with a blender pen, the same for the leaves using Granny Apple Green.  I lightly sponged around the edge of the card to give it some texture.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set and used the oval stitched die to cut it out and again sponged around the edge of the oval.

Before placing the stamped flowers onto the base of the card, I put silver thread behind the piece of card stock then mounted it onto the card base using dimensionals to pop it up and the sentiment.

I hope you like the card and this stamp set will be in the new catalogue so if you haven't got it yet it will be carried over but it wont be available as a bundle (Stamps and Dies) with a 10% discount which it is at in the current Spring Summer Catalogue which will be retiring on the 3rd June. If you would like it with the discount order it before then.

Until next time, Happy Stampin xx
