Case the Catalogue Part 3

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well, as promised I am again with another case from the annual catalogue series.

Today I have cased a card from page 77 of the Annual Catalogue with a few colour changes.

I used all the items shown on page 77 but changed some of the card stock used and the colour of the ribbon too.

I used a card base from the Hand-Penned Memories and More cards and envelopes pack. I used Coastal Cabana, Pool Party and Fresh Freesia cards stock along with some Basic White card stock.

The stamp set used was Positive Thoughts and Natures Thoughts dies, Ink used to stamp the fern and sentiment was Crumb Cake, the banner was cut using the Banners Pick a Punch punch.

I used some of the Fresh Freesia Ribbon and sprinkled some of the in colour gems on the front.

It’s good to go back and use a stamp set that you may not have used for a while.

I hope you like it as much as I do, until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Case the Catalogue Part 2

Hi crafters, hope you are all well.

A little late but as promised here is another case the catty using the Pansy Patch stamp set.

Today, I have cased a gift bag on page 28 of the annual catalogue but turned it into a card, using a few different items.

I copied the bag with a few changes, I used Fresh Freesia card stock and used one of the stamps for the centre of the pansy as a background using Fresh Freesia ink. I then ran it through my emboss and cut machine using the tasteful textile embossing folder.

I die cut the flower using Pale Papya, Calypso Coral and Basic White card stock and some Daffodil delight for the centre. The leaves were cut using Mossy Meadow and Old Olive card stock.

I cut some of the Pansy Petals DSP and mounted that onto the card base.

I used the Stitched so Sweetly dies on some a Basic White card stock which I mounted the die cut flowers on. I used the Happy Birthday stamp from the stamp set and popped up the white pice onto some foam pads to give it some height.

I coloured some basic pearls with Fresh Freesia and Pale Papya blends and there you have it a card instead of a bag!

I hope you like it and maybe have a go yourself.

Until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Case the Catalogue Series

Hi Crafters, hope you are all doing well and enjoying the weather when we have nice days as Autumn is now slowly creeping in ☺️

Today I thought I would start a series of casing the catalogue with stamps that I have in my stash, I hope you like what you see along the way.

Today I started on page 25 of  the annual catalogue (which you can take a look at by clicking on the link in the side bar) using the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments stamps and dies.

I copied the card as is with a couple of changes, I used our retired Scripty 3D embossing folder on basic white card stock. The original card used the Macrame 3D embossing folder. On the Mint Macaron strip down the side I used one of the stamps from the set and stamped the ink splatter in Mint Macaron ink, the original used the Stichery stamp set using Basics White embossing powder.

The flowers were stamped with Memento Black ink and coloured in the same colours as the original using Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce combo blends. The sentiment was the same sentiment as on the original card stamped with Memento Black ink onto Pale Papaya card stock. I then sprinkled some sequins from the Artistry Blooms set using the Calypso Coral ones, where as the sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera pack were used on the original.

So you see you can case a card exactly or make a few changes like I did but get the same effect.

I hope you like it and maybe you can case a card you have seen exactly or change it up slightly.

Until next time, happy stampin xx
