Awsome Otters

Hi crafters, hope you are all well on this breezy day.

Today I have used one of the free stamp sets in the sale-a-bration catalogue, Awsome Otters, along with Friendly Hello. These otters are fun and mischievous. 😊

I cut some the simply marbelous DSP which is also in the sale-a-brations catalogue with one of basic borders dies which has a little bit of stitching on it.

I used the blue paper to represent the water, i took some basic white card stock for the base of the card and again used one of the stamps from the Friendly Hello stamp set again in the sale-a-bration catalogue and stamped the splashes in balmy blue.

I stamped the otters twice and used soft suede light and dark blends to colour them in. I used balmy blue light and dark blends for the water along with some wink of stella and pool party light blend for the sky.

I used the stitched so sweetly dies to cut them out, before mounting them onto the card base I stamped the sentiment from t he stamp set them positioned my otters accordingly.

Its just by chance that most of my items used were from sale-a-bration which was not intentional, but these products finish at the end of this month. The otters are free with an order of £45 and the sampe for the simply merbelous paper. The friendly hello is free with an order of £90, so if you like what you see you have until the 28th February to get you hands on them.

I hope you like it, until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Flowing Flowers

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well, in another week of 2022 here’s hoping things are going well for you.

Today I have used one of the new stamp sets from the new Mini Catalogue, Flowing Flowers, another quick and simple card to put together. I also used a die from the main current catalogue and some of the free DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

I stamped the large flowers from the stamp set in Highland Heather ink and then fussy cut them out.

I used basic white card for the card base and attached some of the Simply Marbleous DSP which was cut using one of the dies from the stitched leaves dies which made it look like it has been stitched.

I love this paper a lot as I have two packs, I might order some more with another order before sale-a-bration ends :-)

I cut it down to fit on the front of the card base, then stamped the smaller flowers on the card base again in Highland Heather ink.

I stamped the sentiment in memento black from the stamp set then positioned my fussy cut flowers. I finished it off with some basic rhinestones as I always have to have some bling on a pretty card.

I hope you like it, until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Elegantly Said

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well, it’s been quite a while since my last post, but I am back.

Today I have created a card using the Elegantly Said stamp set and DSP.

I stamped the flowers on some basic white card stock using black memento ink. I used dark Daffodil Delight, dark Old Olive blends and retired light Rich Razzberry blend to colour the flowers. I then fussy cut them out ready to be mounted to the card.

I used the stamp in the set that looks like a butterfly to stamp in three corners at different angles. I used the stamp that looks like pretty lace to stamp across the bottom of the card, I wanted to stamp it vertically but the stamp wasn’t long enough so opted for a across instead.

I cut some of lovely Simply Elegant DSP that goes with the stamps for the bottom half of the card and topped it off with some brushed metallic card stock. I then mounted my fussy cut flowers and used some gilded gems to finish it off.

I hope you like it, until next time, happy stampin xx
