Fancy Phrases

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well and doing fine in these uncertain times.

Today is another one of my creations using the Fancy Phrases stamp set and a few other items.

For this I used the Fancy Phrases stamp, I stamped the flower in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White card stcok which I then fussy cut out. I coloured it using Mango Melody dark and light blenders, Rococo Rose dark and light blenders and Granny Apple Green dark and light blenders.

I stamped the background on a Whisper White Thick card base with Crumb Cake ink. I then cut a strip of Daffodil Delight card stock using the Stitched Rectangle dies.

I cut the leaf in the background out of Pear Pizzaz card stock using the Forever Flourishing dies. The sentiment from the stamp set was stamped and cut with the Painted Labels dies.

I used Wink of Stella over the flowers, and added a little bling as you can’t not have bling on a pretty card.

I hope you like it, until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Commissioned 70th Birthday Card and Box

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well.

Today I am showing you a card that I was asked to make for a 70th Birthday, as they have now received it I can now show it.

I used quite a few things to create this card, retired and current.

I used the Forever Fern stamp set and dies, which I seem to go to quite a lot when making a pretty card. I used Highland Heather Ink stamped off to make it lighter to match the Purple Posy Card, Olive Olive ink and Soft Sea Foam ink to stamp the elements. I also used the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality Paper.

I used whisper white card stock, purple posy card stock and soft sea foam card stock to create the card which was 6 x 6. The box it went into was a box to fit 6 x 6 cards that you assemble yourself.

I cut the numbers and Mum with my scan n cut so that I could get small enough numbers and lettering in a nice font, I used our Gold Foil sheets and some retired Gold Glimmer paper and mounted the glimmer paper on top of the gold foil sheets to give it a shadow look. i alos used some retired gold twine, and retired gold ribbon to tie the bouquet.

The background of the card was heat embossed with gold embossing powder using the splatter from the stamp set.

The box that the card went into was again stamped with the splatters with a retired gold ink, more Forever Gold Laser-Cut paper was used on the front and again mum and numbers were cut with my scan n cut. Highland Heather ink was used to stamp the Happy Birthday which was stamped off, again using a retired stamp set.

I seemed to have used quite a few retired items to create this card, but I know the recipient was very happy with it, I hope you like it too.

Until next time, happy Stampin xx

Boho Indigo Refill Kit

Hi Crafters, hope you are all doing well, Happy New Year, let’s hope that this year will be a much better year than the last one.

I thouhgt I would start the year off with a simple card using the Boho Indigo Refill Kit and some other elements, nice easy card to make.

I used whisper white card stock for the base, I cut a piece of the Boho Indigo Refil Kit paper as a mat. The embossed piece is one of the sheets from the Boho Indigo kit which is already embossed for you. I then layered some very vanilla card stock on top of some Night of Navy card stock, stamped the sentiment from the Here's a Card stamp set in Night of Navy and used the gold flower and the white flower which are some of the elements that also come in the Boho Indigo Refill kit.

The leaf was from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality Paper, and the trim at the bottom is from the Painted Labels dies where I used our new Mini Embossing Machine which I am in love with as it fits on your desk is very light and you can use most of your dies with it.

So there you have it a nice simple card with not too much fuss to make it, I hope you like it, until next time, happy Stampin xx
