Commissioned 70th Birthday Card and Box

Hi Crafters, hope you are all well.

Today I am showing you a card that I was asked to make for a 70th Birthday, as they have now received it I can now show it.

I used quite a few things to create this card, retired and current.

I used the Forever Fern stamp set and dies, which I seem to go to quite a lot when making a pretty card. I used Highland Heather Ink stamped off to make it lighter to match the Purple Posy Card, Olive Olive ink and Soft Sea Foam ink to stamp the elements. I also used the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality Paper.

I used whisper white card stock, purple posy card stock and soft sea foam card stock to create the card which was 6 x 6. The box it went into was a box to fit 6 x 6 cards that you assemble yourself.

I cut the numbers and Mum with my scan n cut so that I could get small enough numbers and lettering in a nice font, I used our Gold Foil sheets and some retired Gold Glimmer paper and mounted the glimmer paper on top of the gold foil sheets to give it a shadow look. i alos used some retired gold twine, and retired gold ribbon to tie the bouquet.

The background of the card was heat embossed with gold embossing powder using the splatter from the stamp set.

The box that the card went into was again stamped with the splatters with a retired gold ink, more Forever Gold Laser-Cut paper was used on the front and again mum and numbers were cut with my scan n cut. Highland Heather ink was used to stamp the Happy Birthday which was stamped off, again using a retired stamp set.

I seemed to have used quite a few retired items to create this card, but I know the recipient was very happy with it, I hope you like it too.

Until next time, happy Stampin xx
