Accented Blooms

Hi Crafters,

I hope you have had a lovely week, today I have made a card using the Accented Blooms stamp set. Its a beautiful set that gets overlooked.

For this I used Daffodil Delight card stock as the base and matted whisper white onto that. I then stamped the image onto vellum card stock using versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then coloured the back of the stamped image with Stampin Blends, light and dark Daffodil Delight, light and dark, Pumpkin Pie and light and dark, Old Olive.

I used Butterfly Gala stamp set for the sentiment, the Tailored Tag Punch to punch out the sentiment and the Detailed Trio Punch for the corners on the velum, and some basic pearls.

You might notice a few black splodges on the edge of the card, whilst photographing it, an open ink pad was on my desk and yes the card fell on it, something always happens when ink pads are left open. Note to self for next time, hope you like it.

Until next time, Happy Stampin xx

Mini Album

Hi Crafters,

Hope you are well, today is a small mini album that was one of the projects at our team training in February. I loved making this even though I didn't do it on the day. A very big thank you to Michelle Last who created it for us, I will most definitely be doing some more.

We used the free sale-a-bration Botanical Butterflies Designer Series paper (free with every £45 purchase from any of the current catalogues until the end of this month). We also used note cards and the envelopes to make up the album. Well said dies were used for the words throughout and flourishes etc. I also used the new Butterfly Duet Punch to punch out a couple of the butterflies from the Designer Series Paper.

If you would like to purchase any of the items used, hop on over to my online shop, also remember that Sale-a-bration ends this month, so there is only just over a week to go to get any of the free items with a £45 purchase.

Team Event Product Showcase

Hi Crafters, hope you have had a good week.

Today is just a quick one, I thought I would show a couple of items that I made to showcase some of our Stamps and dies from the current Spring Catalogue at a team event we had at the beginning of February which I must say went down very well as everyone loved them.

I found a calendar in a shop we have called Poundland which had tags for the day of the month and dates. I stamped on them with the Forever Lovely stamp set and cut out some embellishments from the coordinating dies. Everyone at the event loved it, and it has since been cased by the lovely Kate Bolt who is part of the team under Michelle Last.

I also made a heart using the Be Mine Stiched Framelits Dies,  I cut 2 large hearts then cut a a few of the grouped hearts and glued them to one of the large hearts cut off the excess then glued the other heart to the back to cover up the workings. I then  stuck it to a skewer which could then be used as a centre piece for special occasions.

Well I hope you like them and maybe have a go at creating one yourself, details of the products used can be found below, if you would like to purchase any of the products used they can be found in my online shop or just click on the products below.

Bye for now and happy Stampin xx

Beauty Abounds

Hi Crafters,

I hope you have had a lovely week.  Today I have created a card using the lovely Beauty Abounds stamp set, I really love this set and the dies that come with it, I also used the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, which I must stress will be retiring at the end of this month. So if you do like this paper I would order it now while it’s still available, you can get it free with a £45 order, so hop on over to my online shop and take a look.

I used Pool Party Card stock for the card base and stamped my image onto whisper white card stock. I used blends to colour in the image which were, the light and dark Bermuda Bay, light and dark Daffodil Delight and light Cherry Cobbler. I punched out the large butterfly from the Designer Series Paper and coloured it in again with the blends light and dark Daffodil Delight. There are three tiny butterflies which were fussy cut from the Designer Series Paper and last of all I used the stitched shapes dies to cut the circle, and just added a few basic pearls.

I hope you like it, feel free to have a go and create your own, until next time...

Meant to Be Bundle

Hi Crafters,

I hope you have had a good week.

Today I am going to show you something I did for our team event a couple of weeks ago, using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. It was a light bulb moment for me. What I did was cut out the scalloped heart times 2 from lovely lipstick card stock. I then cut out a couple of the grouped hearts again from the lovely lipstick card stock which were then sandwiched between the two hearts. I then stuck it to a skewer which could then be used in table displays, I thought it was a good idea and so did the other demos at the event.

Picture below of the finished item, feel free to have a go, hope you like it.
